About Katsuji Wakisaka

Katsuji Wakisaka is a Japanese textile designer. 

Katsuji was born in 1944 and in 1968, at the age of 24 he started working for the Finnish textile company, Marimekko. Katsuji was the first Japanese Textile designer to work for a Finnish company.  Katsuji has published a book with more than 10,000 postcard designs.  Katsuji is also famously known for creating the Bo Boo print.
